After graduating in graphic design at Hanoi’s University of Industrial Fine Art, in 1980, V\u0169 Th\u1eafng dedicated his career to gathering integral knowledge of fine arts. To master these abilities, an artisan must learn how to combine feelings with experiences to express a predetermined idea. These skills serve as a measure to evaluate the talent of a potter.\r\n\r\nThroughout his almost 50-year-long career, V\u0169 Th\u1eafng continuously researched and experimented with techniques while prioritizing materials sourced in Vietnam. He drew inspiration from traditional designs and motifs such as lotus flowers, carp fish, clouds found in antique lamps, incense burners, and water hyacinth vases. V\u0169 Th\u1eafng skillfully engraved those motifs on ceramics, enameling them delicately with layers of colors. Founded by the late National Artist V\u0169 \u0110\u1ee9c Th\u1eafng, B\u00e1t Tr\u00e0ng Museum of Viet Soul Art (also known as B\u00e1t Tr\u00e0ng Museum<\/strong>) is the first private museum dedicated to ceramics in B\u00e1t Tr\u00e0ng Village. It received its license by the Hanoi\u2019s People Committee on January 28, 2016, according to Decree No. 444\/QD-UBND and is governed under the Hanoi\u2019s Department of Culture and Sports.<\/p>\r\n
