Created by B\u00e1t Tr\u00e0ng Museum Atelier (BTMA) in collaboration with designer Di\u1ec7u Anh, AN NAM draws on familiar cultural forms from across East Asia. The collection reinterprets four enduring motifs \u2014 Vietnamese Turban<\/i>, Vietnamese Halter Top<\/i>, The Bamboo<\/i>, and Rice Grain Vase<\/i> \u2014 as contemporary ceramic objects, exploring them through simplified forms and material.<\/p>\r\n

M\u1ea5n \u0111\u1ed9i \u0111\u1ea7u<\/em> is developed from the traditional Vietnamese headdress, preserving its distinctive folded form. Across the AN NAM collection, each design is distilled to its essential form while retaining its defining characteristics. Every piece is finished using B\u00e1t Tr\u00e0ng Museum Atelier\u2019s signature layered glazing technique. To realise this design, the artisans at B\u00e1t Tr\u00e0ng Museum Atelier developed a structural solution to ensure the stability of the work. The sculpture was divided into individual sections for shaping and firing, then assembled around an internal steel support to provide the strength and stability required for display.<\/p>\r\n
