With a history spanning over 30 years, the Mushroom Vase is one of the most iconic designs created by the late People’s Artisan and painter Vũ Thắng. Today, this distinctive piece is on display at the Bát Tràng Museum—Vietnam’s first private art museum dedicated to ceramics, officially recognized in 2016.

Though first introduced more than three decades ago, the vase remains strikingly contemporary in both form and spirit. Its sculptural shape and open design make it versatile for various floral arrangements, while its free-flowing character reflects a modern sensibility that feels timeless.
Handcrafted and finished using Vũ Thắng’s signature layered glaze technique, the Mushroom Vase embodies the refined creativity of one of Bát Tràng’s most celebrated artists—one of only two People’s Artisans ever honored in the village’s 700-year history.
