During his lifetime, the late People’s Artisan Vũ Thắng handcrafted this Ấm Tích Tea Set for serving green tea to guests and friends.
The tea set was developed from the traditional Vietnamese ấm tích, a ceramic tea pot often placed inside a woven bamboo basket (giành tích) to retain heat.

The Ấm Tích Tea Set is handcrafted with hand-engraved lotus motifs and finished using the late artisan’s signature technique of applying multiple overlapping glaze layers, creating depth across the ceramic surface. Bát Tràng Museum Atelier (BTMA) presents the design in two finishes: a dry brown glaze and a glossy green glaze.
The cup tray is inspired by the form of a lotus leaf and accommodates six to eight tea cups. The upper section is designed to hold the cups, while the lower section forms a tray for collecting excess tea, creating a composition that is both functional and visually unified.
Alongside the development of new designs, Bát Tràng Museum Atelier (BTMA) continues to produce works that carry the distinctive visual language of the late People’s Artisan Vũ Thắng, while preserving the techniques and surface treatment methods he developed throughout his career.
