The collaboration between artist Phạm Kiều Phúc and Bát Tràng Museum Atelier (BTMA) offers a contemporary interpretation of the idea of origin, where memory is reimagined through the medium of ceramics. The Giao Chỉ collection comprises four ceramic works inspired by the distinctive Giao Chỉ foot, characterized by its outward-pointing big toe—a sculptural form that is both primal and thought-provoking.
Inspired by Primitive Art, the ancient geometric forms on the surface of the Giao Chỉ Incense Holder are transformed into a visual language that recalls an early stage of human expression in a contemporary form.
