Bát Tràng Museum Atelier (BTMA) presents the Phoenix Ewer, a design developed from a fifteenth-century ceramic phoenix-shaped ewer of the Early Lê dynasty, discovered at the Cù Lao Chàm shipwreck.
Preserving the distinctive character of the original form, the design has been refined to suit contemporary functions and living spaces, serving as either a flower vase or a decorative object.

While retaining the silhouette of the historic phoenix ewer, the design features refined surface details and is finished using the workshop’s signature technique of applying overlapping glaze layers, creating rich tonal variation and depth across the ceramic surface.
Alongside the development of new designs, Bát Tràng Museum Atelier (BTMA) continues to produce works that carry the distinctive visual language of the late People’s Artisan Vũ Thắng, while preserving the techniques and surface treatment methods he developed throughout his career.
