The hand-painted ceramic collection Blooming by Bát Tràng Museum Atelier (BTMA) made a prominent appearance at the Tết Festival: Wave of Luck, hosted by LOTTE in Hanoi. The special event featured a guest appearance by Nguyễn Thị Ánh Viên, a two-time Olympian and one of Vietnam’s most accomplished swimmers.
For this occasion, oversized versions of BTMA’s signature AI ƠI Bag Vase and Tulip Vase—both adorned with Blooming motifs—were presented to the public for the first time.
Nguyễn Thị Ánh Viên is a retired Vietnamese competitive swimmer who represented Vietnam at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. She set multiple records at the Southeast Asian Games, where she earned 25 gold medals, and in 2015, was ranked among the top 25 female swimmers globally in the 400m freestyle and top 10 in the 400m individual medley.
The Wave of Luck installation was conceptualized and developed by the creative studio AntiAntiArt, in collaboration with Bát Tràng Museum Atelier and Microwave Soups.
