The table lamps by Bát Tràng Museum Atelier (BTMA) are the result of material fusion and a celebration of traditional craftsmanship.
Three original designs—created in collaboration with LEAP ART and Beaulo Design—explore the interplay between ceramics, colored composites, and hand embroidery on velvet and linen.

TOGAN
BTMA × Beaulo Design
Inspired by a ceramic work by the late People’s Artisan Vũ Thắng—currently displayed at the Bat Trang Museum of Viet Soul Art—TOGAN is reimagined with a lampshade designed by architect Nguyễn Hà and the team of Beaulo Design. Its silhouette evokes the traditional mỏ quạ headscarf worn by Northern Vietnamese women. This design bridges the vision of a contemporary artist with the legacy of a traditional master.

BALLERINA
BTMA × LEAP ART
A fusion of Western ballet form and Eastern craftsmanship. The elegant leg-like base recalls a poised ballerina, while traditional elements—like hand-carved floral motifs on Bát Tràng ceramics and hand-embroidered velvet from artisans in Thường Tín (former Hà Tây)—create a refined and culturally rich statement piece.

Bát Tràng Museum Atelier (BTMA)
With nearly 50 years of heritage, BTMA is the ceramic studio of the Bat Trang Museum of Viet Soul Art, founded by the late People’s Artisan Vũ Thắng.
Beaulo Design
Is a design practice centered on material experimentation—a place where ideas are made, tested, allowed to fail, and developed through making. It translates knowledge from the field into products, materials, surfaces, structures, and forms. Through this process, Beaulo Design explores how local knowledge can continue to exist in contemporary life through design.
Architect Nguyễn Hà
Founder of arb architects and co-founder of Beaulo Design and MM Lab, architect Nguyễn Hà is recognized for a number of notable projects, most prominently the Mother Goddess Museum. She is the recipient of the Moira Gemmill Prize 2024 at the W Awards, recognizing emerging architects worldwide, and the AR Emerging Awards 2025.
LEAP ART
A Vietnamese fashion and interior brand pioneering handcrafted embroidery, LEAP ART redefines traditional needlework for the modern age. Guided by the philosophy of “light living,” their work embraces simplicity, grace, and cultural preservation.
